Biography:
Skurge, also known as the Executioner, is a character within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). He is portrayed by Karl Urban in the film *Thor Ragnarok*.
Skurge initially serves as the gatekeeper of the Bifrost, replacing Heimdall after Odin's disappearance. He is opportunistic and motivated by self-preservation, readily siding with Hela upon her return to Asgard.
In *Thor Ragnarok*, Skurge wields Hela's enchanted axe and a vast arsenal of firearms. His allegiance shifts later in the film. Realizing the extent of Hela's evil, he heroically sacrifices himself to allow the Asgardians to escape, redeeming his earlier actions.
